"morning" sickness??

Hi. I'm currently about 7 weeks pregnant with my second child. With my first, I never had any morning sickness, or heartburn or anything. but this pregnancy has come with a vengeance. I have morning sickness, ALL DAY LONG. and its so hard because my firstborn is almost two, so I have to chase her around all day, while I'm feeling the way I do. This is so hard. has anyone else had this problem? and if so, does it have anything to do with the sex of the baby? Like, I've heard that if pregnancies are different, that    they are different genders.. idk. Any insight on my current situation would be fantastic. thank you all!

I have the exact feeling as well! I just turned 7 weeks 2 days ago , I have been feeling sick all day but I'm definitely going to try eating the. "BRAT" diet that sounds like it would work! I've heard of these pressure point braclets that are supossed to do well with the feeling of sickness / nausea. You can find them at your local Walmart or wall greens! I'm sure CVS has them but I haven't checked.

I know it sounds difficult but if you try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) and like nibble or eat small meals throughout the day, I hear it's suppose to help tremendously against morning sickness. My midwife and several friends swear by it :)

Thank you! it does suck. And I don't believe that it means girl either because my first was a girl and I had NO m/s.

My first wasn't as bad either. I had morning sickness into my 2nd trimester. Everyone says if your really sick then you're having a girl, but I think that's just talk.
I've been told watermelon helps. Ask your doctor for Phenergan or Zofran, just be sure to take fiber with it because you'll get really constipated, especially with the Zofran.
I know there are natural remedies, but I don't know any, sorry.
It'll just have to pass. Ask for help from family and friends so you can rest. I really hope it passes soon.
