mucus plug????

My bf and I had intercourse a couple of days ago.. I went to Wal-Mart and was trying on some dresses and I felt something was coming out of me. I looked and it was a white really stringy type of thing really think about a size of a penny maybe smaller... I don't know if it was the semen or mucus plug??? Any answers would be appreciated.

Thank you.. :) I thought it just looked like the mucus plug bc the semen would come out watery or would it come out stringy? I wrapped it around my finger trying to pull it out and it didn't brake that's how weird it was.

Mine had no blood and it all came out in one peice, it does not have to have blood in it.

Mucus plug usually has a bit of pink blood in it as well..so it could have just been the semen...gotta love being a woman

Could of been a small piece of your plug, it can come out in peices or one big clump. If your still pretty early in your pregnancy they can regenerate when lost in peices. How far along are you, usually but not always losing your mucus plug indicates you've dilated atleast a little.
