mucus plug

I just saw my mucus plug this morning and I have 19 days to go. What else should I be expecting and how soon is my baby coming. Seriously I can't wait.

I am happy to read this post. I am 1.5 cm dilated and Dr. hurried out if exam saying vaby may come before June 1 C Section date. Wasn't sure if she meant this weekend ir what. She usually has tome for questions but was definately rushed today

BTW sari, most woman's water does not break naturally. I had mine broken in the hospital.

I personally don't know. But I always talk to my Mom about her experiences with her pregnancies. She told me she lost her mucus plug but her water didn't break for another 2 weeks. But all babies are different. Just always be ready. Your water can break anytime now.

All a mucus plug means is your body is begining to dilate, but some woman can be dilated for months before labor. Some woman will even lose peices and it regenerates, so you could go into labor tomorrow orrrrrr 30 days from now. Signs of labor are consistant and timeable contractions that are 10 minutes apart or less. Your water breaking, severe back pain that doesn't go away with heat or relaxation. Feeling like you want to vomit or severe diarrhea.
