Can I still paint my house if I'm 5 weeks into my pregnancy?
I was thinking about the smell too.
I mix paint at work all the time and it hasn't bothered me until a customer sprayed some spray paint -- I felt like it was following me the smell was annoying.

I just painted my new apartment this past week, and I was fine. We kept the doors and windows open for ventilation. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of the spray paint my boyfriend used at one point so I would think it's ok.
You should check with your doctor... mine sent me a nice little list with all of the things to avoid.
We will be painting soon as well... I plan to wear a mask.

Yes you will be fine dear; just make sure you have plenty of fresh air around you. Ventilation is key!
