one question.

It went great, I'll have my last ultrasound In two weeks, at the point I will be 36 weeks & they will check me for dilation.  

But, they put in an order to test me for HIV.  Is that normal? Why'd they do that? Also for some STDs,  is it normal procedure.

Okay, thank you ladies. It kind of caught me off guard. I know that I'm clean, I've had STD test done before. I was really worried they found something wrong. Woooh what a relief: )

they test for std way earlier in pregnancy.doctors recommend to do std screening which is I think it's a good thing better safe then sorry. So don't worry it's a standard protocol.

Yes. Totally normal. Although they usually do that stuff at the beggining, but ive read that they sometimes check right before birth to make sure you wont pass anything to your baby. Try not to worry too much. All will be well!
