pinesol/clorox chemicals

My parents everytime they mop they always use pinesol & mix it with clorox. I hate it, so every time they mop I lock myself in my room & put a towel under my door & also open my window. But right now I had to take a shower, I told them not to mop the restroom & they didn't but it still smelled a lil, & I took like a 10 minute shower lol because I was all paranoid, but when I got out the shower it smelled so bad in my kitchen & living room but I went to my room & locked myself in there again. But I had to go to the bathroom & get something, but by than it smelled in there because when I got out the shower my dad mopped the restroom & I was in there for like couple of minutes, & after u just went straight to my room again,

is it bad smelling pinesol/clorox?  Everytime I smelled it I would cover my face with my shirt so I wouldn't smell it alot.

Oh NO!!

Show your parents this link.  It's a message from clorox about how to safely dispose of a pinesol if you've accidentally mixed it with clorox.  It has to do with immediately pouring it down the bathtub drain while wearing gloves and a mask.  And if it's been mixed for more than a few minutes,  even THAT isn't safe!

Your parents should not be mixing this toxic combination and then pouring it around the house!

Its probably not any worse than when ur not pregnant. I'm ocd & use a lot of bleach to clean. Just make sure rooms are ventilated. Plus, u can smell everything a lot better whenur pregnant so its probably not as strong as u think it is.
