Wow That's good to hear they're doing good I'll be 28 weeks Wednesday well seeing it's almost 1 I'll be 28w tomorrow and it's scary to think about

My son was born at 25 wks and weighed 1lb and 10 oz. He stayed in the nicu for 3 months. He had a brain bleed, his retinas were not attached, and a hernia. The drs told me he had less than a 50% chance of survival and be prepared for him not to make it and if he did survive then he would have major complications physically and mentally. It was the scariest time in my life!! He is now 12 yrs old and perfectly healthy normal boy! He is smaller than most kids his age but my husband and I r not very big tho. It took us this long to even consider having another child cuz we were so afraid of having another premie. I'm now 28 wks and high risk and no matter what the drs will only let me go as far as 36-37 wks so I will for sure have another small baby and she's measuring small too. I just hope that she is healthy and does not have to stay very long in the hospital. Good luck to all u ladies!

I was 32 weeks with my last before this pregnancy she was 3 pounds it was so heart breaking to go home with out her but she was on the hospital for about 6 weeks and she'll be 4 on the 31st she's happy and healthy and has no complications from being born so early

That scares me that some came at around 24 weeks. I'm 21 weeks with twins and i was told twins are more likely to me premature :/

My cuz was born at 24 weeks and was  just under 1lb and he is now 6 years old

My beautiful 3 year old daughter was born at 24 weeks and weighed 1lb 8oz..now she is tall n perfectly fine

One of my friends had her lil boy at 33 weeks he was 4 lbs but now he is a year old and u wouldnt ever believe he ever fit in premie clothes.

My first was one month early. Happy amd healthy two year old now :)

I did. my first born was born at 32 weeks due to preeclampsia. she was in the nicu for 5 weeks. she is a very healthy almost 2 year old now. :)
