rocking chair?

people are telling me too rock in a rocking chair, it helps get the baby moving down... is this true?

I'm not trying to make her, I'm trying to HELP her. But yeah,. She'll do it when she's ready.

My lower back and my belly is hurting but my water have not broke and i am not bleeding

I am 35 weeks and 3 days and got 32 days to go till my baby is here but why is my back and my belly hurting

Yup ive heard yoga ball are best  n my bestie said it also helped big tine wen she was in laubour for her contractions

They don't often drop until between 39 and 40 weeks. I've seen babies not drop until days before delivery. You can't make baby drop. She has to do that on her own.

I'm just trying to help her drop, I'm 38 weeks& I don't think she's dropped yet.

No. A rocking chair reclines you back to much. If you don't have a yoga or birth ball, your best bet is to sit on the edge of the couch. It also has nothing to do with the rocking motion but position your body is in. A figure 8 motion of your hips is a better motion. Bouncing also does nothing so ignore those suggestions.
Keep in mind, it does nothing until you are in the inactive phase of labor or further progressed.

I'm not sure ticking in a rocking chair would help as your hips aren't spreading. I've always been told rocking and bouncing on a yoga ball is a great way to help
