how do you keep pregnancy a secret till first ultrasound?

I am 5 weeks and have my first doctors appointment in 3 weeks.. I would really like to wait to tell family and close friends till then.  We have a wedding and are throwing a halloween party within the next 2 weeks. Any tips on keeping people from getting suspicious when I keep turning down drinks?

I wanted to wait to tell my friends... but we went to a birthday bash for one of my best friends and he knew... so he was okay with me not drinking but all my other friends started throwing drinks in my face and got suspicious when I was denying them until one of my friends said OMG I'm gonna kill you! Ur pregnant! Needless to say everyone heard him and I was just like "surpriseeeee " lmao. Not how I planned it but at least it was still a surprise

I went to a wedding a cpl weeks ago and i ordered sprite with a lime and put a stir stick in it. It looked just like a vodka sprite. Make your own drinks.. drink out of a mug so no one can see what color it is.. and i always add a straw or lemon/lime to make it seem like theres alcohol!
