did I over do it??

I work in retail and know I lift a lot of pretty heavy stuff but nothing I can't handle. Today after about 7 hours of work I started getting sharp pains in my right side under my belly. They come and go and it's not unbearable but  it's sharp pains. I've gotten about 3 tinges of pain on the left side but it's been about 4 hours now and I came home early but the pain is still coming as I'm sitting. Do you think I'm lifting too much? My boyfriend says it's stretching pains but this feels different. It's Sunday so I can't call the doctor but has anyone else experienced this? I'm not bleeding so I'm sure the baby is okay but I'm hoping these pains just go away!!

Your probably right. I get the round ligament pain allll the time from sneezing and standing to quick. Never experienced any of these pains with my first and never had issues lifting at work. Guess my body has changed as I've gotten older

Sounds like round ligament pain...but definitely be a little more careful. I overworked myself and ended up having my son at 36 weeks.

You really shouldn't lift more then 20 pounds and what you're describing is round ligament pain most likely from lifting too much  try taking a warm bath it should sooth you

You most likely did overdo it,just try resting and if it gets any worse go to the er to get checked over..you really shouldnt be lifting heavy things even if you feel you can handle..heavy lifting puts strain on your abdomen so can easily cause pain..it should be avoided
