step kids?

Are any of you married or pregnant by someone who has kids before yours? If so how is that working for you? How do they act with you?

My sperm donor has a 2yr old with a 17 yr old (we are both 21). The day I found out I was pregnant he broke up with me, went back to her, and a few months later bam....she's pregnant again. He hasn't went to a single appointment for our daughter, or even checked in to see if she's okay. However, he has been there for his two year old and to all the other's doctors appointments. Needless to say, my daughter isn't going to be thrown into that. He walked out and can stay out. My boyfriend now has been here since I was 2 months pregnant (we dated before also). We celebrated fathers day for him and he is her daddy. I hate that her father but himself and his girlfriend before her, but she will have a better life because of it. Some things are a blessing in disguise!

My stepdaughter is great (most of the time. She is a teenager). However, the ex is crazy and super hard to deal with.  I am very grateful my stepdaughter and I get along so well.  Lots of work and having open conversations and some special girl time does the trick. Good luck
