steroid shot
Has anyone else had to get a steroid shot to help mature baby's lungs? Did you have any side effects? My doctor made me get one yesterday and I have to go back today for the second half of the dose. The shot really hurt and I am not looking forward to another one. They want to take precautions to make sure baby is ready. They are delivering my baby at 37 weeks due to being high risk for rupture.
I hope I don't have tl get it two days ago I had to get an ultrasound to c if my cervix is short so I'll find out today. I'm already at 1cm I'm 35+4
I had it when i had my baby at 37 weeks. Its was fine and no all was ok. Good look

I'm at risk for perterm labor and today I find out if I get the shot now I'm scared to get it where do they put the shot at?
Yes I had to get them! It hurt but I didn't have any side effects that I know of. I was having to take other medication to stop contractions and get rid of my UTI so I felt sick. I don't know what caused it lol.
