ultrasounds

I use to have straight ultrasounds with my old doctor but I moved to a new one && get no type of ultrasound & it kills me cus I want to see my baby is that normal ?

My doctor only does them so often. Ultrasounds put off radiation I believe, so they should be limited.

Your not supposed to have an ultrasound every time u go to the  doctor.. I'm 36 weeks and my doctor only did two ultrasounds.. when I did my anatomy scans they gave me pictures too but that was all.. it's not good for the  baby

I'm 20 weeks and still don't know thecsex of the baby ugh so frustrating

Im 24weeks and have had like 8 ultrasounds. I will also have one at least once a month till i deliver. Im also high risk though.

If your not high risk then you should only have 4 ultra sounds the whole pregnancy if there are no concerns. Its up to your dr. They do have ultra sound places that you can pay for out of pocket. You can google them in your area.

Really I didn't know that my first pregnancy && I thought it was suppose to b a every month thing ...
