All I brought with me when I went to apply for WIC was proof of pregnancy, your stub or whomever is supporting you's stubs, an ID or SSN and a proof of address. It was pretty easy for me but maybe different if applying in different states.

Every state should have around the same level for who is qualified for WIC. I get it because I am a single mom. You just have to bring a pay stub, electric bill or some bill proving you live in the state you do (or if you live with parents and have no bills, get the head of household to write a letter and sign stating you live there) and know your due date. That's all. But call beforehand to make sure that's all your state requires because that's all my state required.

My hospital has workers that help get you signed up and give you the checks at your appointments. If your hospital doesn't I'd suggest looking for the WIC office in your city it's not hard at all to get on. Saves a lot on formula and milk when they turn 1.

Yes,  you have to be low income to get WIC.  It's not available to everyone - you have to be in need,  financially.  You have to be below a certain income level,  and be able to prove it.

No.  If you qualify for Medicaid you get it.  Call and ask what is the income limit.  If you meet that then bring your sonogram id and proof of income
