luckily i can take the robitussin dm for my cold. my nails do grow like crazy but i bite them lol. it's the prenatals and hormones that are doing it. trying to stop biting them but out of nervous habit i do it i guess. still not feeling any better and have to go to work in a few... sucky!!
That ***** there is nothing worse than being sick and not being able to take anything for it...I (knock on wood) have not been sick yet and i hope it stays that way :) my sister got sick a lot with her pregnancy's and with her it goes right into her sinuses so she would feel all sort of pressure in her head. Have you noticed your nails growing like crazy ? I was a nail biter before pregnancy and when I got pregnant I could stand the though of biting them so i quite but on top of that they are super strong and growing long right now. Every time before I would try to grow them out they would just break or peel but now they are looking great.
yeah... i just started the iron. i have been feeling kind of sick but have been fighting a chest cold on top of things so not sure which is which right now.
I am on iron too, my levels where not low but they said that i should be on them just in case. i really like the one I am on as you take it at night so you don't get nauseas from it as you are sleeping. I can't remember the name right now but as them for the one in the pink box that also has vitamin C and folic acid in it as well as thats what my OB said was the best.
thanks hon :D! doing what i can to rest. came down sick today on top of it all and doc just told me my iron is low so now i have to supplement that. my stress levels have really been tested this week :( between my hospital visits and my mom's stay in there. will be diffenately resting more :D!
Goodluck, i gave birth to twins in june and before they came i was in terrible pain. it was hard to do just about everything. the good news is most twins come early. mine were born at almost 34 weeks.
hang in there and try to get plenty of rest
Thanks for the reply!! I had gone to the hospital shortly after I posted not sure about the spotting and what is happening there. They told me my uterus is rapidly expanding and that the ligaments are having a hard time keeping up. I see the doctor now every week to two weeks. I will keep everyone informed!!
well I am not as far a long as you but was recently diagnosed with round ligament stretching, it lasted for two days on and off and was a stabbing pain on my low right hand side kinda where your abdomen meats your leg. It intensified when i went the washroom or walked but after heat therapy and Tylenol it did go away after two days. They say it can come back at any time and it is due to the fast grow of twins. I have not had the brown spotting which you should let your doctor know about as it could be nothing but it is always good to keep them in the loop. I hope you start to feel better and try to rest as much as you can and take thing slow.
