First pregnancy and we're having twins!

So my husband and I just found out that we're having twins! I think we're both still in shock lol. I'm really nervous because it is our first pregnancy. First grand babies. First set of twins in the family!

Anyone out there with twins with some advice?

Congratulations! The schedule is important....otherwise they will tag team you (ie, one will sleep and the other will be eating and then they will switch off.) You can easily get overwhelmed....I did! lol

Another mom on this forum told me to keep them on the same schedule. If one is eating, they both should eat.  If the other is asleep wake them up and stick a bottle in their mouth.  I tried it....and it works! :)

And yes....I agree with the other post....YOU ARE A CELEBRITY WHEREVER YOU GO! Random strangers will gush and want to touch your baby. It's GREAT!!!!! I absolutely love it!

Cool. We just had our baby shower for our mo/di twin boys and I would highly recommend a diaper raffle for your shower when the time comes.  We did and people who brought a pack of diapers got a ticket and if we pulled out there number they got to take a prize home. We did homemade jam but I know some people do really expensive prizes.  We got a ton of diapers all different sizes and also a regular gift for the baby's.

My god daughters are identical twins and omg they are so fun! The key with twins is a set schedule! Otherwise you will get extremely overwhelmed. I would also recommend to not buy everything new if you want to save money. Having a support system is also key for when you need a break. But omg they are a joy to have! you will feel like a celebrity in public lol i always get. Awww are they twins?! Lol you'll get so sick of it sometimes but ppl will love to look and stare and awww at them. It's fun tho and a huge blessing. Have fun girl!
