Scared I'm pregnant with multiples again....
I'm a Mom of a 10 year old and 3 year old triplets. Just found out last week I am 10 weeks pregnant..SURPRISE!!! Anyways, the doctor says my uterus is big for 10 weeks. Just wanting to know if it is because my uterus got soooo stretched out during the triplet pregnancy, or because I'm caring multiples again? I have my first ultrasound on Wed. because the doctor wants to make sure there's only one in there. I am freaking out, I can't go threw another multiple pregnancy, I don't think my body could handle it.
It is true that once you have had twins+ your chances of having multiples again increase by a ton! I don't think it has much to do w/being "fertile" just the way it is.
I know 2 separate women (one who is about 100 pounds over weight) & both have 2 sets of twins. The woman who is over weight was NATURAL no meds. The other gal had twins via IVF tried for years w//no luck til then, then when the twins were 7 months old.........TWINS again! NO MEDS this time. She was FLOORED & NOT prepared!
I think once you O more than one follie, you ovaries just tend to do that, weather it was induced by meds, or not.

i know your fear of having multiples again. that is the only thing keeping dh and i from ttc again. my ob told me that we have 75-80% chance of having multiples again (apparently i'm SUPER fertile).
do you have family (mom, sister, cousin, aunt) who could stay with you to help you for a while if it is twins again? or even if it's one baby. i know that is what REALLY helped me after our boogers were born. since dh was stationed in washington, d.c. i stayed with my mom during my pregnancy and for a few months after. (our first pregnancy and we had NO idea what to do) my mom was a HUGE help. she would watch the babies for me for a few hours so i could nap and shower and what not.
keep us updated on if it's 2 or not!

Hi There, I know the feeling of not knowing, your mind must be doing all sort of things right now. Everyone must be telling you to wait it out, what will be will be right. Hang in there and good luck. Please share with me your experience with triplets. I am expecting triplets and scared to death.
