If you are wanting something that doesn't hurt the budget and gets the job done I LOVE THE Graco Duo Glider and I had the snug ride car seats the worked great I still use the stroller and I also have a Jeep side by side that I use now my twins are almost 2
I personally LOVE the Chicco Cortina Together Stroller. Chicco is the best infant car seat on the market (PLEASE install them CORRECTLY - email me if you need advice). I am so glad they finally came out with a twin stroller because they are seriously amazing seats.
I nannied for triplets, and have to say I HATED double wide strollers because they are generally harder to maneuver and are not friendly in places like stores. The parents had 4 different strollers and I almost always took the single wide. I like the convenience of carriers, but the only last so long. I then switched to a convertible (Radian 80, but now XLST is better) to keep them rearfacing to 35 lbs (now XLST is 45) and forward faced them to 80 lbs. The Britax Frontier 85 forward faces to 85 lbs and then works as a booster and is a FABULOUS seat.
What ever you choose, your carseat is only good if used correctly. Chest clip needs to be on the chest, not the belly button. Your seat should NOT be able to move from side to side when you pull or push it (REALLY hard, car accidents won't be soft). You should not be able to pinch the straps or they are too loose.
I used the baby trend snap n go stroller, and baby trend car seats. We planned not to be out alot during the first yr the twins were born so that worked out well. It was easy for me to handle by myself when I had to, however I hardly went anywhere without my husband.
Hi, I havent bought anything yet but have been looking around for things. I like the idea of having a double stroller but I LOVE the strollers with carseats that snap into them. How convenient! Although if I am alone there will be no way to bring both babies. I would go with idealistic and do the tandem with 2 infant seats - or if you can afford it buy all 3! Let me know what you end up choosing. Im curious to see what other twins parents are using.
