baby #3 is also #4

Just found out at 7weeks pregnant that I am pregnant with twins. The shock is just starting to wear off and now I am filled with questions. Im waiting for my midwife to call me so I can ask about increasing vitamins and things like that.

But did anyone else out there have twins when they already had small children at home? I have a three year old and a 22 month old.

Also did anyone try to nurse their twins? I nursed both my boys for over a year.  I firmly believe that it is best. But will it be remotely feasible for me to try with two babies AND two other kids at home??

Congrats on your twins :). I don't have any other children, so I can't help there, but just wanted to say congrats!!!!!  I didn't breastfeed, because I wanted help when I could get it, but I hope you can!!!

I can't really help, but I can tell you you're not alone. At 18 weeks we did the gender ultrasound to find out that we not only had a boy but that there were two. We also found that I was actually 20 weeks. I have two children ages 6 and almost 2. I'm more than a little in shock. I didn't even think twins was an option considering there are not any in my family. They also gave me extra vitamins. I wish you the best of luck.

Congrats on your twins :). It must seem overwhelming with 4 kids under 6, but they will be able to help you with the little ones.  So, two boys?

I'm 11 weeks with twins with a 6 year old girl and 2 years old boy at home. I'm curious how it will go too but I am going to try my best to breastfeed.
