Back pain

I am currently going on 16 weeks with triplets and lately I have not been feeling well. I get back pain all day and I feel as if my belly is trying to strech but without being able to. Last time I got measured which was at 13w5d I was already measuring 22 weeks (singleton measurement). I feel really sore on two spots which is becoming very uncomfortable. I asked my old OB (the last one to see me for this pregnancy) and they told me they cannot see me anymore until my new doctor does. I have my appointment until Wed. but I am very uncomfortable. Do you have any suggestions as to how to relieve this back pain? Also I feel a lot of heaviness in my belly. I feel as if I will be tipping over when I feel like this and walk at the same time. Any suggestions???

I have tried sitting up straight, but that seems to make my back pain worse. I have to slant back with pillows under my back. I have a doctors appointment until Wed. so I guess I have to wait till then. Thanks!!

I currently am suffering from back pain as well.  I'm 26 weeks with twins and measuring 32 weeks. (for a singleton)  My OB gave me a back support that goes under the abdomen and around the back with suspenders that help lift the abdomen up.  I wear it when I know I'll be on my feet a lot and it seems to help!  The doctor wrote me a prescription for it that I was able to fill at a medical supply store and it was only $10.  Other than a back support, my doctor suggested warm baths, rotating a heating pad and ice for 15 minutes each, making sure you stand/sit up straight, make sure you sleep with a pillow between your knees to take pressure off your hips, and wear comfortable shoes.  I hope it gets better for you soon!
