hi, im TTC for almost a year n few months. past CD we had sex only on 2-3 days on ovulation days (on the whole month) no luck so far, so i heard that during the week of your ovulation days you have to have sex (for the whole week) i dont know if that method will increase the chances or not. However, here is the things so far, my CD's are 25-35 the most not longer than that, last dec i had 25 Days. on Jan i got AF on 5th stayed as 3-4 days as usual, i got +ive OPK on around jan 18th-19th. but we had sex from jan 14th-21st . then jan 24th, 27th, 29th and 30th. so you think these ways of having sex increases the chances ??? please share your thoughts. Thank you.

Thankx ladies. we had sex all those fertile days (almost a week) thought it would increase our chances. but unfortunatly i got period today, n kinna upset over it(blive me it happnes EVERY month those 3-4 days are my WORST DAYS in my life) anyway, i dont have health insurence at the moment, so we go to health care center(public center) so my gyn there seems lazy to me, i asked her to refer me to have my tubes/ overies cheked up. n i even LIED that my period were irregular like from 24CD's - CD35. she said that still normal. irregular is you missed the whole month. i was soo mad, i also told her i hv direah too (i thought def she will refer me for US) but she said its may not be the tube, she will chek my G.I tube. anyway im still looking for any other private gyn, for a second opinion.

    MY DH he had low counts, after taking fertility blend for men, his counts got better. he dont drink/smoke. yes, we use sperm-friendly lube its called preseed lube. we still using for the last 1 year, but no luck. :(

I really think that the best thing for sex is to make it all about the woman... the guy never has trouble doing his part but for woman its harder to focus on "making love" rather than making a baby...so do what you gotta do to enjoy sex to the max, be bossy, take control, make sure there is lots of foreplay.... even wear sexy clothes all day under your clothes as this can help you get in the mood as it really does take woman longer to really get in the mood, each time you get that postive ovulation test make a goal or plan out a fun night so you really do get the best out of it... if there is a certain way that always "works for you" then make sure it happens! also never use regular lube, sperm cant swim in it and if you do need to use something there are lubes ment to aide in pregnancy that sperm can swim thru... and this goes with the theory when you are not focused on it then it happens.... my friend and her hubby watch porn together, i cant say ive had the urge to do this, but because ive never tried i cant really knock it and thats what works for both of them so... pretty much make it fun, try new things, enjoy each other and really connect... never let it become a "job"

I too am ttc i have been since May 2011 got pregnant in Sept 2011 but miscarried at 7wks but when i got pregnant in Sept it was our anniversary weekend and we were just enjoying ourselves and BAM two weeks later i got a  positive pregnancy test...but since the miscarriage no luck :/ but i have heard old wives tale to take 1tsp cough syrup starting on CD1 everyday till the end of your cycle and it should help you get pg...i have not tried this yet but i know some ladies swear by it...we are in the point of ttc where "if it happens it happens" because it was just always on my mind and it was causing so much drama in our marriage and sex was a routine (which was no fun...lol)...but good luck honey i wish you the best of luck in your ttc SSBD

If you have sex every other day it builds up the sperm count and if you have sex through the time you ovulate everyday that should help... If you go to the TTC group forum...

the second post on the forum is deannas sperm meets egg plan and its a really good plan to try out... it does the sex every other day...

have you talked to your Dr at all or have you or your guy been checked to make sure both are good to go when TTC... just as reasurrance..
