I agree with njrohe on this one. If you've been having sex regularly (especially during the time she mentioned ...about two weeks after the first day of your last period), then you should see a doctor because there could be more at work in there. The doctor can help you figure out why you're having such a hard time getting pregnant again.
I also forgot to say that I am sorry you had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. However, because of that pregnancy and because you have a 10 year old, you at least know you *can* get pregnant (and carry to term). There is a great chance you'll be able to get pregnant again. Many women on here have great things to say about the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." Perhaps this is something you want to buy or borrow from the library to help you in your TTC journey. Hopefully, by consulting with your doctor and using this book, you'll be able to figure out the best time for you to get pregnant again!
It is very unlikely that you would get pregnant on the same day you start your period. Most women are most fertile 12-14 days after they get their period. Have you been having sex at this time? If you've been trying for a long time and having sex at least 2 to 3 times per week with no results, you should see your doc.
If you had sex that day, then got your period later that night, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. However, if you had sex a couple weeks prior as well, then your period could have 1. been implantation bleeding, 2. bleeding from intercourse, or 3. your period!
Unfortunately, *I* cannot tell you if you're pregnant or possibly could be based on what you've told me alone. The only things that can tell you if you are pregnant are a home pregnancy test or your doctor (i.e. getting your blood drawn and tested). So if you want to know for sure, those would be your best options. =D
Tho there are cases of women experiencing light periods throughout the nine months they are pregnant, if you had your normal period, you are most likely not pregnant.
i was hoping you would say it maybe possible. you see last year i was pregnant and i miscarried about 7 weeks and we have been trying again and it doesn't seem to be happening for us, we already have a beautiful 10 year old but we were hoping to try for one more just like her but anyway if i do wind up being preg i will keep you posted
You can still get pregnant if he came inside of you *and* you were ovulating at the time. Usually most women ovulate two weeks after the start of their last menstrual period. You said you are pretty regular, so if you are, then you most likely ovulated two weeks after your LMP.
If you were close to when you normally get your period the night you and your hubby had sex, then all that movin' and shakin' could have shook things up in there and started you a day or two early. It is more than likely that you wouldn't be pregnant if you had sex so close to when you get your period. But if it's not time for your period, it was most likely just bleeding from intercourse. It happens, especially with all that rubbing going on down there! =D
no it was not a light period i usually am pretty regular, but it was just that my husband and i had sex that day and he came inside of me and that night when i went to the bathroom i had my period so can you get pregnant like that?
I don't know if we have any doctors on this specific board, however, you more than likely just had bleeding from the sex you had earlier. Sometimes all that rubbing and pushin' around in there during sex can cause you to bleed a little. If it's not heavy, period-like blood, it was most likely *not* your period (unless you normally have very light, spotty periods).
Also, if you had sex a couple weeks ago and got pregnant, the light bleeding could have come from implantation of the egg. Sometimes as the egg implants, it digs itself into your uterine lining and some of it comes off and you experience spotting/bleeding.
If you are still concerned about it, talk with a doctor. They can check you out and make sure it's nothing to worry about. =D
