29 weeks having contractions ?

I'm 29 weeks and keep getting menstrual like cramps off and on. Last time I went in for this they just gave me water and sent me home. What do I do?  I'm drinking water now

It could be constipation. Those feel an awful lot like period cramps and I am quite familiar with those!!! Try taking a warm bath and take a couple Tylenol. Those are fine to take in pregnancy and relax. Maybe use a heating pad on low is fine also. But if you feel the urge to go potty go but don't strain. You can try prune juice but it did nothing for me! Just keep your water intake up. If they dont go away though call your dr back again and let her know. Hope you feel better soon.

As long as they dont get gradually more painful or closer together and follow a pattern, then its probably just braxton hicks. Some people do seem to get more pain with them than others, you're maybe just one of the unfortunate ones...

Id say they are probably braxton hicks...keep timing them and stay hydrated...rest as much as possible...if they get closer then go to the er...if they dont then you should be fine but call your doctor tomorrow to see what they want you to do.

I'm not to sure try to take it easy and time them. And if they are back to back like 3to5 minutes go to the hospital.
