Hi!
A couple of thoughts for you--
If you were my patient, the next test I would do is an HSG. This is a dye study to determine whether there is any blockage in the tubes--any history of pelvic inflammatory disease in the past, or endometriosis might put you at risk for this.
I would do this AFTER repeating the pregnancy test this cycle (probably with a blood test),
and in the week after your period. Many women will fail to ovulate occassionally, and that is usually the reason for a delayed period and negative test. When this happens, I often prescribe progesterone to induce the period to start.
Give your doctor a call! I would also suggest doing a progesterone level on the 21-22nd day of your next normal cycle.
Good luck!

my doctor called and said i had ureaplasma? and gave me and my husband azithromycin prescription. she said its not an std just a bacteria and they only test for it when infertility issues arise. i dont quite understand what it is? and it causes infertility i guess so, once antibiotics are takin, does that mean my infertility is still an issue or is that what would have been causing my infertility the past year? dont really understand if this is helpful and will now help us conceive or if its a problem im goin to have to live with? anyone know anything about ureaplasma?
see your doctor !! id advise u both get tested at doctors. ur partner may have a daughter already but that doesnt meanhis sperm count, mobility, motility is normal. alot can change down there in a short space of time. im not saying its his problem or yours, but dont see it as ur fault just yet. my sperm count 7 years ago was 56,million. it is now less than 3million due to thyroid problem.
never can tell why ur baby isnt here yet so see a doctor to make sure all is okay, as im sure it is. good luck
