pregnancy and chills

This is odd...but for the past full week I have had chills and goosebumps like you get when you have a fever. But at night I"m so hot I can't stand it when sleeping, and then in the morning i'm cold again. At work, I literally have goosebumps and feel as cold as i would if i had the flu...but temp is just in 98.1 range...so no fever. No confirmed pregnancy... but am on Cd 39 today (def late by my standards). Just wondering what this could be from.

motherofan18month....ooooooo, it sounds like we're in the same predicament. Isn't the eye thing weird? I thought the same thing when it happened (b/c i use reading glasses) but then I thought....i haven't worn those in 2 months...and THEN i remembered what was mentioed previously and i started to freak out.
I bought equate +/- and came home and took one. Still BFN. For whatever reason, i was SURE it would be at least a faint positive. UGH!

well, i dont really get goosebumps but my hands and feet are constantly cold no matter if i have them covered up or not, and i too have been sweating during the night....i swear it feels like what some women would call hot flashes! and the eye twitch thing freaks me out......every couple of days i will feel that but i thought it could be from me not wearing my glasses as much as i should!!!!!

Ha...get used to that.  But if it makes you feel better, my dorm here is without heat (or with very limited - they haven't figured it out yet), so it doesn't get above 68 degrees in my room.  I'm constantly under piles of blankets.

Lol, I was only 6 days late, and it was clearly instantly positive, so test whenever you want.

If it's what you are wanting, I'm praying for you.  :)

That's cool!! If I were to start on cd 31 then i'm only 8 days late today so maybe it's still too early for a positive HPT...

As for the cold..i WANT  it hot!!!

Yeah, I took a test about a week after my goosebumps started (I was a week late, and had been on meds so I figured that was causing me to be late, but I was like, what the heck, take the test).  I took it, turned around to pick something up and caught sight of a positive sign.  I almost had a heart attack.  5:30 in the morning, and I was bursting to tell someone, but everyone was asleep and I live in a different state than my guy.

After that, because I had tried for so many years with no success, I wouldn't believe I was pregnant until my first ultrasound.  My eye twitch started right after that, about 8 weeks, and seems to have gone away as of last week at 11.

As for the nose bleeding when you blow it, it could just be the cold air.  Lol, you could always drop the temp when no one is looking and wait until they start complaining.  They'll turn up the heat!

are you pregnant? How long have you had an eye twitch? that's an amusing symptom, isn't it? I mean, i'm sure it's annoying, but it's odd too!! wonder what causes such odd symptoms. I'm so PO'd right now b/c no one in my office will agree to let me turn the heat up and i'm freezing! maybe i have a sinus infection b/c my nose bleeds when i blow it, it's running and i'm cold as hell!

OMG!  You're right, and not only did I find info on that, I found someone else who had the eye twitch I asked about last week!  Makes me feel less weird since I found someone else with that.

eerie! So I did a history check and there were some women saying that there was a link, but now I'm trying to figure out whether there's another explanation... it's too coincidental!!

While I've never actually heard of any link between the two things, I was getting goosebumps the week before I found out.  I would just be sitting at work, and all of a sudden, I would have goosebumps and the weirdest little giddy feeling.  At the time, I didn't even think there was a possibility I could have been pregnant, but when I started getting those goosebumps I started wondering.

Now, what possible thought linked goosebumps and pregnancy in my mind?
