ANA test
I have had 2 weak unable to titer ANA screens. Can you please tell me what this means and will it affect my baby. I am 16 weeks pregnant.

Why are you having an ANA drawn? Yes the ANA (anti-nuclear antibodies) is a screen for lupus, but also can be elevated in other autoimmune disorders. an ana is a screening test for lupus
it is not just a test for Lupus we have a few antibodies that are different i think the doctor should answer this one to clear it up
