SO confused!!

Hi!  At the end of august I found out I was 6weeks lpregnant.  Due to stress and other "unknown" causes I began miscarrying Sept. 2, 2007. The process only lasted as long as a period normally would w/me but i was scared about everything so i went to the ER.  That's where they ruled it out as a "threatened miscarriage" and told me to come back if I had anymore complications.  I didn't.  As soon as friday rolled around, I was finished.  No bleeding, no pain, nothing.  I went in for three HCG tests to see what was going on, each time they dropped and now this past one which was monday came back negative. It has been about two weeks since the miscarriage and I'm wondering if I could already be pregnant again?  My doctor gave me the go ahead as soon as I felt "ready" and the week after miscarriage we began trying.  Monday after my blood test i noticed a small bit of spotting, that has been the only time.  Also i'm starting to get a bladder infection and possibly a yeast infections (i know i know TMI but i'm just scared!) I'm also starting to have symptoms of pregnancy again ...like my breasts are starting to become sore again and i'm feeling tired and sick to my stomach once again.    When I got my results back on tuesday from the HCG test it came back as 0, i didn't start feeling these symptoms again until late wednesday and all day yesterday.  Somebody please help and tell me what is going on because my dr seems to be of no help!!

i also had a m/c- mine was in April & into May of this year. I stopped bleeding on May 2nd.. and had nothing until May 9th, i spotted on the day of the 9th & 10th & then it stopped again. I thought i could have been pregnant again, but it ended up being nothing. im not sure why i spotted after for 2 days either.. im sorry if im not answering your question... i just wanted to tell you my experience! Thank you for your advice.  I have an appointment scheduled for October 2nd but I'm still frustrated w/lack of communication I am receiving from my doctor.  If you have time I would like for you to answer a few questions I have.

Is it common for women to lose the signs of pregnancy and then gain them back a few days later after miscarriage??  Also would it be too early for an at home pregnancy test to show up positive since it has only been between 3-4 weeks since miscarriage?  Do I start w/the first day of miscarriage or until it was finished to say the correct date?  Is it common for women to spot after a miscarriage a few days after but only for that day?  As you can tell I have several unanswered questions that would definatly ease my mind if answered...I'm just so confused.

If after the initial miscarriage the hormone of pregnancy fell to less than assay (or zero), it is possible in resuming intercourse you have become pregnant again.  It is for this reason I like to advise my patients to wait one menstrual cycle before trying to achieve conception after a loss.  

Given your state of confusion, a visit to the MD's office for a blood test and exam is definitely a good idea.
