I thought I was 14 weeks when I found out, but I was further along than I thought! So I really found out when I was 14 Weeks 6 Days and the Tech (who is my best friend) is positive it's a BOY!! After spending 2 hours in the U/S room, I guess thats confirmation enough! But it's a Boy!! It depends on the tech, the U/S equipment and how your baby is facing. Good Luck!
Thanx ladies, I'll just be patient for my time to come.
I was 12 wks when I found I would have been having a girl. It ending in a miscarriage at 13 weeks and it was confirmed then that it was a girl. The doctor told me that they can find out as early as 11 wks.
I've heard that you can find out as early as 13 weeks ...but that you have to have a really skilled u/s tech and machine, as well as a cooperative baby!! Plus, it's a lot easier to see little boy parts then girl ones! =D
with my son i found out at 11 weeks hehe it was for my down sydrome screening and we asked her and she said 90% its a boy and u seen it clearly it was cute this time around im hoping and praying for a healthy baby GIRL dh has 3 boys it would be unbelieveable to have a girl and buy her all beautiufl dresses so i hope and pray for that lol
I found out I was having a girl at 16 weeks and a few days. Can't remember exactly. :) I think the earlier it is, there are more chances of it being incorrect. My daughter was VERY cooperative during our ultrasound and left us with no doubt!
I'm going to say this and probably have several people correct me with their own experiences (LOL!) but I read it's more common to hear it's a girl and then find out later it is actually a boy. Although like I said...I'm sure there are experiences to the contrary! :)
I found out it was a boy 16w5d. I think it depends! Good luck!
my doc checks from 16-18wks. he said the closer to 18wks the more accurate the results. i waited till 17.5 weeks--it was so hard to resist scheduling the sono- sooner because i was soooooo excited! i'm having a girl, but often times they can spot boys earlier. good luck!
Some women can be as early as 14-16w.. I was about 16w when they gave me they're first educated guess about it being a BOY.. My amnio confirmed it. (I dont suggest this unless you have GOOD reason for it.. genetic disorder or lung development later in pregnancy)
My personal experience I didn't find out until 23 weeks, he was being stubborn and shy so depending if you have a cooperative baby or a stubborn one betty12 is right about 18 to 20 weeks =]
anywhere from 18-20wks is accurate some dr's tell you a bit earlier however they are not always accurate but around 20wks or so.
