I had the mirena removed july 1 and i charted my BBT, CM,CP. But i must tell you that it may take some time for your period to come back, also if you experience any pregnancy symptoms it normal to experience after the iud, There is a group on here that can help you.
Its called how long did it take you to conceive after mirena iud removal?
Good luck
These ladies had great suggestions on timing ovulation but I wanted to add after I had my iud removed my dr recommended that I tale prenatal vitamins. Good luck
Need to find a method to help you determine when you ovulate. Some women use OPKs or take their temperature (BBT- Basal Body Temping). BUT I prefer the CM (cervical mucous) method.
Basically when you go to the bathroom and notice any vaginal discharge (clear, cloudy, stretchy, sticky, etc.) have sex. I'll give you the abbreviated information. When you are not ovulating or preparing for ovulation your cervix is closed tightly. When you begin to ovulate the cervix softens and opens to allow sperm through to your awaiting egg. Due to the softening the cervix secretes mucous.
This mucous helps keep sperm alive. Sperm are sensitive and the vagina is highly acidic. The mucous is necessary to keep sperm viable so they can reach the egg for fertilization.
Okay now that you've had a lesson on reproduction remember to not get so caught up in making a baby that you get stressed or discouraged. Remember to have FUN!
Have sex during ovulation.... That's all I did I got preg first try.... But really it's no different than someone who didn't have an iud in the first place... I don't think there are any tips for post iud users that are different than normal ttcers
