are baby boys less whiney than girls?

I'm due with my first in September and have heard from my friends that little boys don't wine as much as girls. Like if their crying abd when they get what they want they'll stop and its true even as grown ups girls are definitely more winey. Help?

my first son cried from the minute he was born until he could walk...that was a long year! my daughter was and is an absolute angel, she fed and slept, I didnt even have any trouble from her when she was teething. My second boy is 4 days old and has been good as gold so far...I think it depends more on the baby and how relaxed mum is than the gender.

When i had my daughter, she was my crybaby lol! I guess it depends on the kid...not sure, but when i had my son he did cry in the beginning and he cried more than my daughter, but i soon discovered that it was because his stomach couldnt handle the formula! When i switched to sensitive formula he slept thru the night, took good naps during the day and was all in all a good baby! he rarely cried (only cried when he was hungry) but that was it. I have friends who have little girls and i remember all of them being crybabies!
