Bowling...

I was thinking of something for DH, Elijah, and I to do this weekend besides the normal go to the park. I wanted to find something we could ALL do and have fun, instead of me sitting to the side watching since I can't really run around with Elijah. I thought about going bowling this weekend. I'm 32 weeks pregnant today. Would it hurt anything if I did? I mean, obviously I'd use a MUCH lighter ball, and I wouldn't just do my normal "throw". So would it be ok, if I was really careful? I went bowling when I was pregnant last time, I don't remember when it was with Elijah but not this far.

I bowled until 36 weeks with my first pregnancy. This one I haven't bowled much. The first time I tried I pulled some muscles in my abdomen, it hurt me, but didn't hurt the baby. Tried again and did ok, just take it easy. I actually bowl much better when I'm pregnant because I have to keep my arm straight cause my belly gets in the way, lol! If you're unsure at all just ask your doctor!

Yeah I use a 14lb ball. I boweled several times while pregnant. You do have to adjust your throw for your growing belly.

Just be careful and have fun.

I think you will be just fine bowling. I was on 2 bowling leagues a week with my first pregnancy. I bowled till I was 39 weeks but used 10lb ball the whole time. So I personally would not use a ball over 12lb. Hope you have a great time.
