Anyone had false negative result with 5 day early pregnancy test?
Am just wondering how reliable these are without trying to get my hopes up???? easier said than done though.
I used one called Predictor it says on box can be used 5 days before your missed period...going by my usual cycle of 31 days but my last period on 30th august was a miscarriage so am not sure whether to use that date or not>???? any advice or anything?? much appreciated xx

if you have the patience to wait then yes this seems to be correct!!

so you can test the day your peroid is due and get pretty accurate answers??

Thankyou for your response still a little bit of hope for me this month then - mm cld I be that lucky? luck am having lately cannot see it - some idiot just drove into side of my car ahhhh..
I tested on day my period was due last mnth and got BFN then on day 34 got BFP so fingers crossed be same again this mth!!

Sania- I was thinking about calling my doctor, but I only wanted to call her after I get the BFP at home..

Nicmom- I was gonna wait until the day AF was due in test again to see if thing changed since it was two hpt's in the box!!!

I had a bfn 5, 4, and 3, days before my period was due only to get a bfp the day it was due. The 99% accurate thing is only for the first day of your missed period. Good luck!

take a blood test that will be more accurate to know are you pregnant or not.

thanks for your response, there is no information like that on this box!!  Thats kind of what I was thinking too.. I know first response say 69% for 4 days I think...cheap test from bodycare!! did same last mth bought tescos own n tested on day due that was negative then 4 days later bought a clear blue one n was positive!!

Check the box for more details,  I believe many brands state that the tests are only about50% accurate 5 days before a missed period.
