How Accurate?

Hi,

I was wondering how accurate a home pregnancy test would be if it's been a little more then a month since possible pregnancy incident?

June 30th - Possible Pregnancy Incident
July 20st - Period - Slightly Lighter But With Blood Clots.
August 12th First Morning Urine & Followed Direction to a T - Negative Pregnancy Test

Would it be accurate by now?

Next Period Is Due Around: August 20th
Normal Ovulaton: Around the First of Every Month

I think I ovulated around July 5th because it wasn't on the first that I can say for sure.
For this month I think I ovulated, (though it wasn't like normal cause I had quite a bit of watery discharge that has cleared up) around August 5th.

Hope this helps a bit more to tell!

If you have a 28 day cycle and it has been 28 days since your last menstrual cycle than it is approx 99 percent accurate however some women ovulate (release an egg) later in their cycle than the half way point in which case it may take up to another week approx to show positive on a pregnancy test. If you still have not gotten your period in a few days i would suggest testing again if in a week period is still not coming try a gyno appt to see if you have a cyst or something else going on. Good luck!
