peaches,
i hope you get those wonderful kicks where you get to see foot prints. : ) enjoy your wonderful and hopefully healthy pregnancy.

Chantalemma,
congratulations on your pregnancy!
I agree, it is normal to have some aches and pains. I do tell my doctor about it though and i suggest the same to you. Make sure your doctor knows too that you are having pains after sex and after sitting for a long time.
those flutters should get stronger and stronger until you are confident they are kicks. enjoy!

I am only 12 weeks, so won't feel anything for awhile. But i also get abdominal and shooting pains like you described. Im pretty sure its just muscles and ligaments stretching! Hope to feel my baby sooner than later! :)

Hi there,

I also feel pain after sex or intercourse. Or sometimes if I have been sitting too long and stand up and stretch. I think it is normal. I am 16 weeks pregnant and I might be feeling the baby move not sure yet. This is my first pregnancy,

hey peaches
i have experienced the exact same thing! i am 18 weeks and i do feel baby already and i do get sharp pains. i also have issues with sharp pains and cramps after sex. it is normal to have pains. and it isn't impossible for you to feel the baby, every woman is different and experiences things at different rates.
i know how you feel...every kick is like getting that bfp again and a wonderful reminder that i am still pregnant.
here's to being punching bags and enjoying it!!!

well this is my 3rd pregnancy ive had two miscarriages in the past year one at 7 weeks and one at 10 weeks, found the reason for the m/c's was lack of progesterone took that for the first 12 weeks and seemed to make baby stay :) so happy to feel the movement but loads of people were telling me its impossible, the pans i get are sharp most of the time, but i presume all must be normal if im still feeling movement hopefully, just worry about everything after my last two pregnancies :( cant wait till im a punching bag :)
