Inhalers should be 2 puffs every 2-4 hours. And taking more than that will not help if the original dose isn't working. So you may need a treatment. My doctor prescribed me an inhaler and the meds for my nebulizer so i can do my own treatments if my inhaler doesn't work. Good luck. Although i really think you should get the treatment anyway. Not being able to breathe s u c k s.
I'm going to take up to my maximum dose of my inhalers i have and i guess if it doesn't get any better then i'll try and get to the hospital :/
Where is your inhaler? My asthma seems to get worse with pregnancy, but your inhaler should be working, if not tell your ob. She should prescribe you another one. In the mean time, if you are struggling to breathe, go to the er and get a treatment asap!
