Dilated 2 centermeters already at 37weeks

So my doctors check me last week nd I was dilated 2 centermeters already what do you guys think?? Do u think I will make it to my due date nd two weeks or before?? I have another doctors appointment this wensday I might dilated more I hope so cause I'm jus ready to have her already....

W.my 1st iwas dilated 5cm @35wks stay the same for weeks ihad her @39wks&4days. Like xojensen^  you can dilated but be the same for weeks or dilated more within every week til birth.

I start getting checked when I turn 35 weeks which is on Wednesday, and yes its optional unless something's not right & doctor says it's necessary!

Yes it's optional. You don't have to get checked because it's not necessary.

You could be close to labor, however it's no sure thing. Its possiblevyou could stay at 2cm for another week or so. awith my 2nd I was 3cm for about 3wks, then I jumped to 5 all of s sudden one day, the next day I walked and had intercourse with hubby and the next am by tine I got to the hospital I was fully dilated and effaced. I've never carried a baby past 38wks.You just never know so now that you're full term just always be ready. Good luck!

You start to get checked around 36 or 37 weeks . I don't think it's optional .

Patricia depends on your doctor I started getting checked around 37 weeks I believe but only because I went in to L&D for false labor and they never checked me and my doctor was upset that they didn't so he did.

Honestly it's such stress on the mind tho :/ I was 2cm for a month and expected labor to be sooner than my expected due date was so stressful

You can dilate within hours or be a cm for months straight

I'm right along with you 37 weeks today myself was dilated 1 cm at my 36 week check up. Have an appointment this Tuesday and hoping for good news
