This is exactly why I didn't buy/rent a doppler when I was pregnant with Jaxson.. The panic if I couldn't find the HB wasn't worth the stress for me! I'm sorry you are stressing! =( Call your Dr., and see what s/he says. I am sure you have nothing to worry about. It is VERY common to not find the HB on the home dopplers.. Even the Dr.'s doppler cannot always locate a HB easily! Congrats again on your pregnancy! I am so happy for you!
yes you are rite worried dd 612...by the way my dd is 6/21...my baby is always very low at first i was worried becuz the doc could not find the heart beat...babies have a mind of their own...they go and hide where they feel most comfortable at...a dn those doppler is not a good idea tohave at home because i feel you are asking for trouble especially if you dont know what you are doing....let the doctors do their jobs if you have any worries and give the doppler back tothe person that you rented it from!
its normal, the baby can move all over the place & sometimes can go very low in your uterus where you wont be able to pick up it's heartbeat. i got my doppler when i was about 17 weeks and at one point i couldn't hear anything, have you tried moving it very close to your pubic bone? like on the hairline? i have found my little girl's down there sometimes, they like to get into little corners!
Thanks. I hope it's nothing. It's just so reassuring to be able to find it daily, and now for two days, nothing. It's probably just the baby in a different position.
It is totally normal to not be able to find it. I was never able to hear the babys HB first thing in the morning and at other times during the day. You need to remind yourself that the baby changes positions etc and just try again a few hours/days later. I was pretty much able to stick to my 1x day use....although I will admit when I didn't find it I tried again a few hours later. You are still fairly early in your preg and dont need additional stress. Hoep this helps.
