Weight Gain

So I'll be six months Monday and everyone keeps telling me I need to gain more weight which is pissing me off so far I've gained 16 pounds and the doctor says he's healthy and growing like he's suppose to people are so ignorant!!

If your doctor isn't concerned about you're weight gain or loss, than you have nothing to worry about. I haven't gained much weight and as of tomorrow I will be 18 weeks. I had lost 15 pounds within the first 6-8 weeks, and gained that back. I'm now up only 6 pounds. I saw my doctor on Wednesday, and she said she's not concerned, and usually if they are they say.

I am halfway and have gained 8 lbs and it still fluctuates between 6 to 8.

Please I've lost weight throughout my pregnancy and the Dr. says it's nothing to worry about because the baby is thriving.

at 6 months i only gained about 15 pounds bc i was sick in my first trimester but now im 37 weeks & I've gained over 60+ pounds so your 16 pounds will probably change but don't worry about them as long as your baby is healthy that's all that matters...goodluck sweetie

Yea ur weight gain is right on track. If ur doc not worried u shouldn't either.

Girl don't pay any mind. I wasn't even over weight (maybe 10-20 lbs) with my first and lost 30 lbs. Still had a 10 lb 1 oz boy. And I wasn't sick and ate ALL the time. With my second, I was in the hospital constantly getting fluids, couldn't keep anything down, and never ate, and still gained 60 lbs. My daughter came out 6 lbs 14 oz.

With this one I have lost 15 lbs, eat like normal, haven't been sick except like 3 times in the beginning, and baby girl is measuring 2 weeks ahead consistantly. So tell them to hush..

Don't listen to people! I gained 12 pounds my whole pregnancy with my last baby he is 5 weeks old and perfect

I know what you mean that Sounds like everyone at my work I am 5 months and have gained 6 pounds but everything is good
