Ear Piercing

Anyone have any opinions on piercing my daughter's ears she will be a month old tomorrow and I just called around and one Wal-Mart told me they pierce at any age and I was wondering is it better to go ahead and get it done asap or to wait a certain age I can't wait to see her in some earrings and little bangals

In the end it's up to you. Personally I wouldn't,  but I'd be more worried about infection so young. And I definitely would not get it done at Walmart.. but you are her mother therefore these are your decisions.

I did when my daughter was 2months she didnt even cry and they never got infected or bothered her at all. She is now 22months and has little hoops in and she always calls them her pretties lol

I got mine done when I was almost 2months old.. Honestly hum it's you daughter and your decision I don't think you are making a horrible parenting decision to get her ear pierced.. But apparently other people do! I think the younger there are the better it is cause it does heal faster and it's easier for you to take care of them! But i do think they have to have a certain shot for some places to do it..

Its better to do it while there younger because as they get older and mind develops it scaresan hurts them more. Id say do it at a.month my mom did mine at a.month 1/2

Well half my family is Indian and the would Pierce them right after birth. My dad refused to let them do it though. I am thankful for that. Some places don't pierce correctly and it can be dangerous expecialy for a baby. I got mine don't at the mall a year or so ago and they got horrably infected. I sujest if you do it at all make sure they know what they're doing. In my oppion you should wait til she can ask if she wants them but if you really want to. I sujest go to atattoo and piercing shop or ask around for someone who does it professionally.

Listen, if you want to pierce your little girl ears then go ahead. She will not hate you for it later on in life. As a mother you arent forcing anything upon her! Its more to religion than pierced ears!!! Im upset that it was even brought up when most moms is having babies out of wedlock now speak religion on that.
