Ear Piercing

Anyone have any opinions on piercing my daughter's ears she will be a month old tomorrow and I just called around and one Wal-Mart told me they pierce at any age and I was wondering is it better to go ahead and get it done asap or to wait a certain age I can't wait to see her in some earrings and little bangals

3 months is a more practicle time. I was 3 months old when my mom did mine and I'm sooooo happy she did. If I have a little girl 3 months is when she will get hers

I'm getting my daughter's ear pierced sooner then later because she will be less likely to play with them now & plus she wouldn't remember. I was told to wait until she gets her tentanus shot then I can do it.

And how is it "easier now" to do it?!? Ears heal in weeks or less and it's no more painful later than it will be now. Makes no sense how it's "easier now"...

We waited 3 months because she needed some shots first in order to get her ears pierced

Wait until she's old enough to decide what SHE wants to do. That's like forcing a certain religion or sports team on her at this age. Why make her go through the pain now? Because when she gets older she may WANT it done and it doesn't hurt so she will behave more. You're going to be responsible for taking care of her ears. Why not wait until she can do that herself. She will like it when she gets older and all her friends have it done and she can get it done. I hate when people get their babies ears pierced!

I personally won't do it. I'm gonna let that be my daughter's choice when she is old enough to decide for herself and take care of the piercings. But I gotta admit, I think baby girls with earrings are super cute! It's just personal preference.
