low progestrone

HCG was 1515 on 12/12/07  and went up 13,000 on 26th Dec but progestrone went down from 16 to 8  .What does that mean .Having u/s on Monday .I am on supplement and very worried.Any suggestions as of what is happening

take the prog. vaginally an u will absorbe it better ....i ahve been thru this 5 times an preg now.... i do vaginal prog. keeps level higher

Hello,

Once a woman has an established intra-uterine pregnancy, with a positive fetal heart rate there is no need to continue to follow progesterone or hCG levels.  Also, giving supplemental progesterone is not a proven therapy, but is unlikely to due harm.  I wish you well.  Try to have patience.
