Did I test too soon????

HI, I am 29 yrs old and I think I may be pregnant. I started my period at 12yrs old and they were always irregular. Sometimes coming every 3 months and lasting a month. I have had a thyroid test and it came back fine in 2007. I had an (water) ultrasound to check for endometriosis.  it came back fine. That was in 2006. Just recently starting in 2007 my periods became regular, I evan began cramping when it came on and also cramping about 3 days during ovulation every month. Its called mittleheimers (excuse the spelling), but thats how I know every month when I'm ovulating. Before my periods became regular they were VERY heavy. Now they last 4 to 5 days at the most, and its not heavy, I would say its an average period. I may use a total of 8 to 9 pads a period.
I began charting my period and ovulation for a better chance at pregnancy, well here goes. My period is an 36 day period, with first day of period as day one, im sure we all know the drill of counting. Anywho, My last period was March 10, 2009 and lasted the usual 4 days with spotting as it goes off on day 5. My chart said my most fertile days were from March 30 to April 3rd. We had sex March 29, 31, 1st, and 3rd. I was told that you can take a test 10 past ovulation if conceived. My period was due April 15th. It has not came on yet. I took a hpt on April 11 four days before (walgreens early response test) it was negative. I took another one on the 14th, the day before missed period (walgreens again) it was negative. And I took another one on the 16th, one day passed missed period (dollar store brand) it was negative. My breast are a lil heavy and I have sharp pains in them for the past couple of days. I have a kitten and the kitty litter drives me insane. Both I and my fiance have been tired and sleepy lately. I was constipated a few days ago but I finally went on friday without straining. I had cramps like my period was coming the day of my missed period and sill having some slight cramping now.

Oh and how long do ultrasounds usually last. I figured he saw something since it lasted 20 min or so. I figured if he didnt see anything it would not have taken so long???

Hello all,
Well its me again. Here is my update from my last post. Well again my period was due April 15, missed that. Took a test a week later got a bfn. Took one 11 late it was bfn. On day 15 I was sitting in class and I got this sharp pain on my right side. When I got home I saw I started bleeding. The blood was red at first then dark blood. Meanwhile Ive been cramping like crazy since 5 days before my missed period. I bleed for about 3 days, but it was not normal. Usually when I have my period when I wake up in the morning and use the bathroom its a rush of blood coming out. Well this was different. I may have used a total of 4 pads the whole time and neither one was full. I did bleed tho, not spot. Just really really light. Anywho I went to the ER cause of the pain. They did a hpt and it was negative, not sure if it may have been wrong because of the blood mixed with urine. They also did a pelvic exam and everything was fine she said. She also said I looked good down there for someone who was bleeding. Well they told recommend I see a gyno and sent me home. Well wed I went to the doc and he had me take an ultrasound today and a blood test.
Well Im just looking for some insight on what you think.
I tried my best to get the tech to tell me something but he wouldnt bulge so I have to wait for my doc to call me.
Well when he started the first thing he said was "so youve never been pregnant" "are you trying" and "what if you are". And as soon as he started he focused on my right side and took plenty of pictures on that side. He only took a few on the left.
He was also suppose to give me a transvaginal ultrasound after he finished the kind with the gel on the stomach. But when he finished the normal one he took what he had to the doc and 5 min later came back in and said thats it youre done.
Do yo think that meant anything since he decided not to do the other one???

Well, I hope you are right.  My best recommendation is to get a blood pregnancy test.
If you have a blood test, and it is negative, then at this point in your cycle, that's that.
It may be that irregularity coming back to plague you, or it could be just a one time blip.
Ask your doctor about Femara or clomid to speed up the process ( a 36 day cycle is very long!) if you are not already pregnant!
