my period is late 16 days today and i did 5 hpt last week and it shows negative but i'm still discharging with mucus and having lower abdominal and bachache pain and headache too, am i pregnant?  my period is regular and i never missed a month.

I agree with Shirano, or possibly try switching the brand of pregnancy test.

And use first morning's urine. :)
