MAYBE I AM STRESSING OVER NOTHING??

Okay..I posted before that I had 2 miscarraiges.  One in Nov & one in April(twins).  Well I just found out I was pregnant again this weekend (I took an ovulation kit & I know I had to of gotten pregnant 2, 3, or 4th).  SO I am VERY early.  But i went & got blood work done.  My beta was 126 & progesterone was 36.5 (something like that).  I was feeling okay until the nurse called back & said my dr wanted me to come in for another test tomorrow...She said because my beta was LOW.  Well, I am just nervous.  I asked her if I should be worried & she said NO that is was MOST likely low because I am VERY early.  Anyone else's beta that low before at 3-4wks...I know I have to be almost 4 weeks..Like I said I took an ovulation kit the 1st week of Sept & it said on Tues the 2nd positive which meant I would be ovulating within the next 24-48 hrs :)-
Please help :-)

Everyones body reacts different to the HCG hormones. I know I generally have very high numbers for my gestational age. Sometimes I worry Im pregnant with twins lol because the numbers can get so high. I had numbers of a 4 month pregnancy when I was only 6 weeks along.

I also know of women with lower levels than yours and had successful pregnancies. My step sisters levels were scary low, and they encouraged her to get a D&C because she would most likely miscarry....well she went on to deliver a 10 pound baby boy in june.

So I wouldnt worry to much, im sure all is well, and that your numbers will double/triple like they are supposed to. Im wishing you the best of luck!

Wow, they said you were low???? I've known many women who had betas as low as 26 that early, and had very healthy pregnancies!

I've also had 2 m/c's so I know how easy it is to worry! Like Nikko says, there's nothing to worry about unless your next number stay the same or lower. You can only tell what is going on by comparing to your original beta, no matter how low it is. With my 2nd m/c, I was 4 wks and my beta was 15 (the fine line of + vs. - ). Now THAT'S low! lol

Good luck! And congrats!!

I understand your stressing though. I too miscarried twice before this pg. I miscarried in December 2006 at about 6 weeks and again in March 2008 at about 12 weeks. I am now 23 weeks and 2 days pg and every little thing seems to scare the bejesus out of me. So, just hang in there. I can't say that it gets any easier as the pregnancy progresses, but I can say that the ladies on here are great for the emotional support they provide during all stages of preconception, conception, pregnancy, and miscarraige.

Full implantation can take up to 16 days, so it is possible that you are just very early. I wouldn't worry too much unless your next numbers come back and are still low.
