Most people that are active will start their periods late, my friend did gymnastics abd soccer and didn't start hers till about 9th grade. 9-13 is pretty young to start a period, you aren't even a teen and you're just becoming one. Idk when those ages become the norm of starting. Everyone I ever knew started sometime I'm middle school.
I was 9 years old.. sooo it was the summer before I started 5th grade.
I remember b/c me & my mama were on the way home from vacation bible school, which is always before the new school year starts, we stopped at the gas station, I used the bathroom & saw blood.. ahhhh!!! lol
I told my mama as soon as I got in the car & she said, "well, we need to go get you a pad then." lol - they always said I was mature for my age, but geez.. I could've gone a few more years before that had to come along.. so young!! lol ((:
I was 13. Pretty average. 15 is on the later end of normal mommiKat. My sister didn't start hers until 15 and the doc said if she hit 16 with no period theywould have to start running tests to find out why. Average is different for different people, if your mmom started late than 15 probably isn't abnormal.
I got mine at 15. Everytime it started off have bad cramps and it was super heavy do I'd fake sick, I think my dad caught on but he still would pick me up. Ha
I was 15, the summer going into my sophomore year, I knew what it was cause since 5th grade there was always once a year a sex ed. Class taught, but I felt very abnormal around all my friends cause they always got theirs way early than me.. Lol
