bad smell after sex ?????

Ok so I'm 27 weeks pregnant (1st pregnancy) and almost every time I've had sex with my boyfriend this last month I've had a bad smell afterwards. It's starting to becoming embarrassing because he said it's a really strong odor. It starts to smell after I ***. I've been reading that if he ejaculates inside of me that could be the cause of the smell but I'm not sure. I'm also thinking it could be because I have a lot more discharge now. I'm not sure but anything will help.

It from your discharge as well as his I would say get some feminine wash products to help that about all you can do other then consulting your doctor Good luck

I mean if you two have intercourse often the smell is bound to just be there as something that's normal. I don't think it's anything out of the ordinary. Just shower everyday, personal hygenie is very important since your lady part is very prone to infection and do not douche.

My guess is that you have bacterial vaginitis.  (Google BV if you want to know what it is.)  It's main characteristic is a bad smell.  Talk to your doctor, he or she will swab you.  You don't want to have BV when pregnant.

It could be an infection. Most infection cause bad smell. Please check for it.

Hi there. This does sound like bacterial vaginosis which is very common.  You should see your doctor and they'll do a swab and be able to quickly tell.  Then if it is, antibiotics are given.  

Do not douche though.  That increases infections and yeast overgrowth substantially and why doctors recommend to not do that.  Wash on the outside only as the inner part of the vagina is self cleaning.  Wear loose under wear, cotton only.  

But go get checked out by your doctor to see if it is BV.  good luck
