Hi,

I'm 24 yrs and trying to conceive and I had sex with my hubby after 6 days of my period(w/o protection) on dec 21. but now I got little light brown spotting on dec 24. Is it normal to get brown spotting after 10 days of my period? my last cycle on dec 15. when can I check for Pregnancy test?

My general quest is: when do I expect spotting for implantation of pregnancy?

One more quest is: I've checked my blood glucose level 2 months back and it is in the high border of normal. Is it having any risk to get pregnant?

Hi!
Implantation bleeding typically occurs around ten days after conception, or around the time of the missed menstrual period.  Mid cycle bleeding is fairly common, and if you were my patient, I would not be concerned about one episode.  If it becomes a pattern though, I would discuss the possibility of a saline ultrasound to check for polyps within your uterus. Some hormone tests might also be in order.  As far as testing for pregnancy, I usually recommend waiting until the period is late.

Hi,

I'm 5 weeks 5 days from LMP but, I've no early pregnancy symptoms and I did 4 hpt on 39th, 36th, 32nd and 31st day from LMP but all came negative. I've irregular periods because of hypothyroidism from july, 2010 and now I'm taking levothyroxine(50mcg) for my hypothyroidism and it came normal in October 2010. Then I'm TTC from December 15th 2010.

When can I book an appointment to my OB?
Is this right time to book an appointment?
How many days I'll wait to confirm my pregnancy through HPT?
When I'll do HPT to get positive result of my pregnancy?

thats kinda fast to have implantation spotting that soon but i guess it could happen. they usually say that you get preg about 2 weeks from the start of your period and the spotting shows up about 9-11 days after that. I was trying to get preg and took clomid because I have pcos and now I am 6 wks and 3 days preg. I had the spotting but it was a while after my period...i don't know if it is diff for each person but u should call the doc and check!
