Please help very new to this!!!

Ok so i've been on a couple sites asking and i haven't really gotten an answer...
Ok so i've been on the pill for 10 years or so. Me and my husband use the pull out method (i know lol) ok so my period comes like clockwork on the same day every month, and i'm always extremely heavy. So i was suppose to get it Sunday (this past sunday) i have not had one drop all week. The only thing i got for maybe 3 days is a very light brown when i wipe only and not much of it. So i took a test at home on Thursday morning and it was negative and i took one again tonight and it was negative? Any thoughts on this? On sunday and monday i felt like i was going to puke all day off and on, and had cramps. Nothing else since then. Anyone have any suggestions on what this might be if i'm not pregnant

I've been on bc pill too and my fiance still pulls out as well, over cautious, but I also missed a period.  I spotted for a day, a brownish color.  Been having light cramps the last week and a half, next period if I have it is due tomorrow, but still negative hpt.  Seeing the doc Tuesday morning and hoping I'm one of those rare cases where it just won't register on hpt.  Good luck though and let us know what happens when you retest.

thanks for your help. I've just never had it like this before and I was worried.
I'll try another test next week just to be sure.

Ovulating late could cause you to be late. You could be coming down with something (which can also affect when your period comes). I'd wait another week and test again!

It could be anything...it would be soon to be nauseous, so it could even be the flu or a stomach bug. I'm confused, though...you said you've been on the pill for ten years - but then you still use the pull-out method? Why?

My only other thought is that the light-brown spotting used to happen to me a lot when I was on the pill for a long time. Brown usually means old blood.

But, if you're truly concerned and want some answers, I'd go to the MD. If you were pregnant, you'd be about five days late, right? A test *should* show positive by now. There are odd circumstances where it won't show positive when you are, in fact, pg...but it's very rare.

Good luck!
