My stomachs been hurting on top constantly , my swelling us off the charts , my hearts randomly started racing once or twice this week and ive been gaining about 10 lbs a week but no head aches or high blood pressure . Hes already 7 lbs 3 oz as of last monday and im measuring 39 weeks so I think hed be ok for the most part if I had to be induced asap but im freaking out !

Please don't stress, your baby would be fine if born now, although not ideal, your baby would be able to survive. I got pre eclampsia at 30 weeks, and delivered at 33 weeks, my little girl was only 4 lb! But she only needed a 3 week stay in the nursery until she weighed 4 lb 7oz. Pre eclampsia only gets progressively worse, so the later you are diagnosed with it, the better. Even if your situation held out for another week or two, your baby would be classed as full term. Good luck to you and baby!

I think the baby would be fine if you do end up having to be induced, just think of it this way, the benefit of inducing will out weigh keeping him in there longer.

Hang in there mommy! I can sympathise with you. Going through it with this one but also had my son at 35wks due to preeclamplsia and he was 7lbs2oz. He only needed 1wk of nicu and that was just for brething and feeding issues, otherwise he wouldn't have needed to be in there. It will be so special to hold your little one and you will be ok! Sending positive thoughts.
