i didnt dialate untill i was three days overdue, at the hospital in labor and even then i was only 1/2 cm dialated.
yeah he is. i actually go back on tuesday to have my cervix checked again. the pressures been coming and going and i'm not really on bedrest....but i'm limited as to what i can do which is pretty much nothing.
Some people dialate and stay there for WEEKS. Others don't dialate until they are actually in labor. Is your doctor going to monitor your cervix more closely now? As the others said...take it easy...no heavy lifting or strenuous activity...and wait til your next appt to see if you've progressed any. Just keep a close on the pressure you've been feeling and any other signs you may have ...if you are uncertain of ANYTHING go get checked out.
im 32 weeks today and i dont think im dialated at all my dr doesnt start checking until 35 weeks
these are my first and the only other person that's still alive in my family who's had twins was my dad and his ex wife...so he has no idea about that because....well he didn't have them. lol. and i DO NOT get along with his exwife so i'm not even bothering to ask her anything. i'm just so nervous and scared they'll be born super early and have to be in the hospital forever....with ivs and all that stuff attached to their poor little bodies and i don't want that. i've been taking it easy but....i'm just a nervous wreck!
I wasn't dialated until after I got induced which at that point I was 10 days past my due date, I'm a twin and my mom was dialated for a couple months before we we're born and we we're born about a month early so i don't think it's a huge concern yet, they'll just check you more often like they said =]
I was checked at 27 weeks and wasn't dialated at all and I was just checked Tuesday at 29.3 weeks and am at 1cm now
Well, thats a little early, But with twins Im not to sure.....But my guess is if you keep on dia;ating then they may put you on bed rest......But Im no dr..
I walked around 3 cm dilated from about week 33 with my first. He'll just keep a closer eye on you to make sure you aren't progressing anymore. He may suggest, if he hasn't already, to rest as much as possible and no heavy lifting.
